This big open shower uses a raised section of the floor to send water off to a drain next to the wall on the left. The huge panel is supported at the top without trapping in steam, thanks to an opening created by a notch at the ceiling.

Wall to wall vanity mirrors with an overlapping lighted makeup mirror create a stunning focal point in the primary bathroom of the “Fika” home. The walk-in corner shower with satin brass hardware can be seen in the reflection.

2021 - NW Natural Street of Dreams in Happy Valley - Red Hills Construction
This custom wine enclosure was a dramatic addition to the entry of the home. Built with 1/2” floor to ceiling clear glass, matte black hardware, oversized ladder-pull handles, and floor locks to keep that wonderful wine safe and secure!

2020 - Homeowner’s Spa Retreat in SW Portland
On Left: Custom Jade River barn door style slider connects to a fixed glass shower panel. The shower enclosure is made with clear glass and brushed stainless steel hardware. On Right: The custom sauna enclosure was finished off beautifully with with a floor to ceiling glass panel and glass door, with beachwood handle.

2019 - Joshua Oduin, Fraley + Company, and Moon Shadow Glass
This custom neo angle shower enclosure has three fixed panels set at 135 degree angles and satin etch glass in a one of a kind wave pattern. The SW Portland homeowners had seen a similar sandblasted glass look, but wanted to modify the height and the consistency of the waves. Our collaboration with the interior designer, contractor, and glass artist made the homeowners’ vision a reality.

This custom back painted glass backsplash in NW Portland was fabricated and installed by DT Glass. Bringing the glass behind the exhaust fan and up to the ceiling was Kathryn’s extra touch that made an amazing project even more spectacular.

Glass was used extensively throughout this NE Portland home to create bright open spaces. The floor to ceiling walls along the staircase, along with interior transom windows were part of the combined low energy with high style plan for this home.

These walk in shower glass panels are secured in a recessed channel which was set prior to being tiled. The shower controls located next to the door and huge lighted niche are the thoughtful touches that the NE Portland homeowners will appreciate for years to come.
